After 22 years in the Marine Corps as a Drill Instructor, Tony has worked as a Personal Trainer and Boot Camp Instructor in a variety of fitness centers across North America over the last decade in New York City, Chicago, Miami and most recently an eight month stint in Hawaii training U.S. forces and dependents. Tony is now bringing his passionate, intense, one-of-a-kind energy and unique style of training to Toronto.

Sgt. Tony A is an exceptional and dynamic leader who is dedicated to help ensure each member reaches their personal fitness goals. He will put you through your paces and make you challenge yourself, while at the same time making sure you have a lot of fun while you are at it. Tony couples his tactical training skills with his extensive knowledge of health and fitness to bring you one of the most fun, intense, challenging and rewarding training systems in the fitness industry.

Tony is extremely creative in his classes and no two classes will ever be the same. So if you are serious about making a change in your life, but you are lacking the motivation, then Fit Factory is where you need to be.

Co-Founder - Ivan Ho

Ivan Ho holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology and years of experience competing as a Varsity Track and Field athlete at the University of Western. Upon graduation, Ivan followed his passion for fitness and started his first company Fit from Home Inc. in 2009, for which he received the 2009 William F. Bell Young Entrepreneur Award. 

He then noticed the popularity of group training rising in North America, but with so many facilities solely focusing on expansion, the quality of service was certainly overlooked. Ivan quickly realized the seemingly huge demand for a unique service in Toronto and founded Fit Factory Fitness Inc. in 2010 with business partner Tony Austin.

With over seven years in the marketing, events and entertainment industry, Ivan uses his expertise to develop a wide range of campaigns and special events for Fit Factory to stay on the cusp of the fitness industry. Ivan strives to stay on top of the game and was recognized for his business achievement by the Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs, winning the 2013 Best Start-Up Award.

Ivan has since been invited to speak at multiple conferences including the University of Toronto Alumni Leader2Leader Conference, Government of Ontario's Annual Small Business Forum, Rogers TV Personal & Business Finance, and more.

Geoff Wintonyk, Instructor

Geoff Wintonyk has been involved in sports and fitness his whole life, and has always competed at the highest level. Over the last 15 years, his passion for health, fitness, and the well-being of others has grown. Geoff has been an elite trainer for over 12 years, and has been privileged to work with a diverse group of people, from your average Joe to high profile athletes and celebrities.

Whether you are an elite athlete or someone who has never worked out a day in your life, you CAN do it. Geoff has a passion for proving people wrong when they say or think that they “CAN’T”. He will show you what you are truly capable of, by pushing you to your limits and making you believe that you can do anything you put your mind to. Geoff guarantees that you will get an awesome kick-ass workout and leave his class with an amazing feeling of accomplishment that will have you coming back for more!

Imran Ali, Instructor


Imran studied at York University where he received a Honours B.A in Environmental Studies. During his studies he continued to be interested in physical fitness and began to realize this is where his true passion lied. Upon graduation Imran immediately obtained his Personal Training Certificate from CanFitPro and started to pursue his passion for helping others and living a healthy active lifestyle.

In addition to weight training, Imran has played competitively in a variety of team oriented sports such as basketball, volleyball and ultimate frisbee. Imran understands the various methods of functional and strength training and believes that a combination of both should be incorporated in everyone's life.

Imran strives to create a positive atmosphere ensuring his clients feel comfortable during his classes. He thrives off the energy of his clients and takes pride in helping them achieve their goals.

Imran guarantees his classes will challenge you regardless of your fitness level and goals. His only requirement is that you give it your best effort. If you are ready to put in the work, have a positive attitude, and want to be healthier, stronger, and leaner... then his classes are for you!.

Kurt Gordon, Instructor


Kurt is extremely passionate about fitness and health and his mission is to motivate and encourage individuals towards a more positive, healthy, active lifestyle by raising awareness on the importance of physical health.With a B.A. in Computer Science and a natural talent for graphic design, he has been working in the graphic design and signage industry in Jamaica. Over the last 10 years, he has been drawn to the world of fitness, attaining a certificate from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. Upon attaining this certification, he began personal training as a hobby, gaining the encouragement and respect from his clients and colleagues.

Upon moving to Canada in 2016, he decided, he attained a second personal training certification from Canada Fitness Professionals.

Kurt’s goal is to improve his clients’ range of motion, practical strength and cardiovascular fitness. If you are a novice, he hopes to prepare you for an upward swing towards your best fitness level. If you are experienced, he hopes to help you push pass your boundaries. He believes that it is our will that dictates our abilities.

Jenny Lam is a Certified Personal Training Specialist and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. Her mission is to inspire people to become the Best Versions of them selves by accomplishing their Health and Fitness goals. Jenny’s journey in the fitness world began in 2008 when she discovered her love with Yoga. She began to explore different methods of training and developed a passion for bettering herself and others around her. Since then it has led her to obtain her CanFitPro Certification, as well as pursue her studies in Health Coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Jenny went on to join Fit Factory in 2013 and was immediately drawn to the challenges it brought and the mental state she attained. Right then and there she knew that she would one day become a trainer at Fit Factory. Jenny believes in leading by example by training consistently and healing her body through optimal nutrition. Her goal is to empower everyone at Fit Factory to reach their true potential.

Jessica Reynolds, Instructor


As a retired professional dancer Jess learned quickly about the importance of strength training after sustaining many injuries through rigorous and demanding work in her career. She quickly picked up a barbell and fell in love! In awe of what her body was capable of, she thought “how could I not share this with others?”

She attained her Personal Training certificate from CanFitPro and dove right in. Striving for people to ‘surprise’ themselves as she had done when she was winging it solo. In addition to being a retired professional dancer and dance instructor, she’s also a professional Film and TV actor. She loves everything performance related (film, stage and personal performance) and really aims to make her classes challenging, with a little touch of humor to get you through those hard times.

Specializing in combining unconventional strength and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Jess is known for creatively enhancing traditional methods. She can either be feared or loved in the gym but always respected for her dynamic routines, out-of-the-box thinking and strategic results. Her workouts challenge and engage the muscle groups at a deeper level, while incorporating fundamentals for balance and flexibility.

Maya Eid, In-house Nutritionist


Maya is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) and health supportive chef. After working for a decade in the Advertising industry, Maya was propelled to blend her background in design with her passion for health by finding creativity in the kitchen, and inspiring others on how to cleverly cook using whole food ingredients and a little imagination.

After dealing with her own health challenges like fatigue, hormonal imbalance, and digestive issues, Maya became increasingly interested in the notion that food is medicine. She now shares her knowledge to empower her clients to take health into their own hands. She is founder of www.mayaeid.com, an online blog of health supportive recipes, wellness and lifestyle advice.
