What’s that you say? Icecream for breakfast? Yeah, why the heck not! ;)

1 frozen banana, scoop of flavored (or unflavored) protein powder, 2 TB of raw sesame butter (AKA tahini), 2 tsp of cinnamon and 2 tsp of cardamom, blend in a high speed blender. Sprinkle cacao nibs on top and BAM! Protein powered ice cream with healthy fats. (Serves 2)

Quinoa Morning Porridge

Yield: 1 serving


1/2 cup of quinoa, rinsed well and soaked overnight
1/4 cup of goji berries (I prefer mine soaked in water for 10 minutes to make them plump and juicy)
1 organic apple, diced
1 TB of raw cacao nibs
1 TB Raw sunflower seeds
1/2 TB of chia seeds, soaked overnight
Optional: sprinkle cinnamon and maca powder to taste
Rinse the quinoa well, then soak it overnight and in the morning cook it for about 10 minutes. Also soak the chia seeds overnight in water. Gently mix all ingredients together and serve. Can be eaten warm or cool. I usually make this in the morning before work since it takes no time at all to gather the ingredients in a glass tupperware. Keeps me satiated until lunchtime!

The Superwoman Trail Mix

80% organic dark chocolate, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, hazelnuts, cashews, almonds, sacha inchi seeds, cashews, pecans, walnuts, managed to get 1 brazil nut in there, oh and the yummiest dried berries ever - mulberries!

Nuts and seeds help to reduce the risk of heart disease and LDL (bad) cholesterol . So grab a handful a day and enjoy. Happy ❤ day.
