Imran Ali

Imran studied at York University where he received a Honours B.A in Environmental Studies. During his studies he continued to be interested in physical fitness and began to realize this is where his true passion lied. Upon graduation Imran immediately obtained his Personal Training Certificate from and started to pursue his passion for helping others and living a healthy active lifestyle.

In addition to weight training, Imran has played competitively in a variety of team oriented sports such as basketball, volleyball and ultimate frisbee. Imran understands the various methods of functional and strength training and believes that a combination of both should be incorporated in everyone's life.

Imran strives to create a positive atmosphere ensuring his clients feel comfortable during his classes. He thrives off the energy of his clients and takes pride in helping them achieve their goals.

Imran guarantees his classes will challenge you regardless of your fitness level and goals. His only requirement is that you give it your best effort. If you are ready to put in the work, have a positive attitude, and want to be healthier, stronger, and leaner... then his classes are for you!.

  • Boot Camp
  • Boot camp classes are guaranteed to make you sweat! Be prepared for a dynamic full body workout that includes interval drills, plyometric, body weight exercises, strength training, and more. This head-to-toe functional training program is designed to be both fun and challenging for all fitness levels! Please bring your running shoes to every class and be prepared to go outside at any time.
     
    *Indoor running shoes mandatory

  • Boxing
  •  Get ready for a THROW-DOWN!
     
    This class is 1 hour of boxing drills and maneuvers. You'll be working up a sweat with the gloves on! Running shoes, boxing gloves and hand wraps are mandatory.
     
    *First time glove rental is free
    *Boxing gloves may be rented or purchased in studio
    *Hand wraps are mandatory and may be purchased in the studio
     
     

  • Strength & Conditioning (Full Body)
  • Ready! Set! Pump....but slowly! This class will include everything you need to build strength and more defined muscles. Focus on heavy weights, a slow burn and perfect form. No more than three muscle groups will be trained during this class.

    Monday - Chest & Biceps
    Tuesday - Legs & Shoulders
    Wednesday - Back & Triceps
    Thursday to Sunday - Full Body

  • Ready! Set! Pump....but slowly! This class will include everything you need to build strength and more defined muscles. Focus on heavy weights, a slow burn and perfect form. No more than three muscle groups will be trained during this class.

    Wednesday - Back & Triceps 
    Thursday/Friday/Sunday - Full Body

  • Abs n' Lower Combat
  • Get ready for an intense 1 hour core and lower-body workout. We easily forget how dependent we are on our leg and core muscles not only for training but everyday activities as well. Expect to work those abdominals, obliques and back in this class. We will also focus on those hard to sculpt lower-body muscle groups, and get the legs and butt you have always dreamed of! You will learn how to activate and strengthen your core muscles to their full potential while burning a substantial amount of calories. A variety of training techniques will be used and each class will be different. This will ensure you are constantly challenged, reduce your chance of plateauing, and maximize your results!

  • Elite
  • Are you ready to push yourselves to the next level? ELITE is a 75 minute HARDCORE workout that will push you beyond your physical and mental limits. This class is no walk in the park! Be ready to throw down and give it everything you have. Think you have what it takes? Come prove yourself.

    *Please bring outdoor and indoor running

    *Members only

    *Must be approved by Fit Factory Instructors. Please speak with an instructor to see if you qualify.
    Minimum requirements:
    3-5 unassisted chin-ups / pull-ups
    20 Burpees in a minute
    25 box jumps in a minute
    5 tricep dips in a row
    15 push ups in a row
